As Mojang investigates full offhand mechanics for Bedrock Edition, please implement a dynamic system that allows players to utilize blocks, food, and alternative weapons in the offhand slot, matching Java Edition parity.Currently, console and PC Bedrock players are restricted by mobile touch screen button limitations. However, controllers and keyboards have more than enough physical inputs to support full dual-wielding actions using a clear priority-rule layout.Multi-Item Priority ActionsThe game should prioritize the main hand's tool/weapon action first (Right Trigger/R2). If the main hand is idle or cannot perform a secondary function, pressing the secondary action button (Left Trigger/L2) should instantly activate the offhand item. This would let console players smoothly place torches while mining, eat food during combat, or place blocks while holding a weapon without clearing their hotbar.Main Hand Mirroring Option for Left-Handed Players. Please add a "Dominant Hand" toggle to Bedrock’s accessibility settings. Choosing "Left Handed" should mirror the character model and controls entirely. The left hand would become the primary weapon slot (switched to RT/R2 or standard primary attack), while the right hand acts as the offhand utility slot.Giving Bedrock full offhand functionality will modernize survival, building, and combat across consoles and PC while respecting mobile layout options.
