A new cave biome with pretty good loot, but new powerful mobs like the frostbite a new zombie variant that gives the player the same affect that powdered snow. Another new thing that comes from this is a new boss called the frosted which when defeated drops an enchanted spike which can be used to make a very powerful and sword.
