Sun ore

suggest a new endgame feature called Sun Ore, designed to give late-game players a useful way to spend extra diamonds.

​1. Sun Ore & Sun Gems

Sun Ore is a rare, volatile ore found only at high altitudes in mountain biomes. When mined, it drops raw Sunstone. To stabilize it into a usable "Sun Gem," players must fuse it with diamonds. Every craft in this tier requires diamonds or diamond blocks.

​2. Block of Sun

Crafted by filling a 3x3 crafting grid entirely with 9 Sun Gems. This block acts as the ultimate light source, emitting a maximum light level that automatically melts nearby ice and snow in a wide radius.

​3. Diamond Chisel & Carver Station

A new utility station crafted using diamonds, iron, and obsidian. Players use the durability of a diamond chisel to refine raw Sunstone into stable Sun Gems and decorative sun-themed blocks.

​4. Helios Beacon Base

A unique structural block crafted from a Block of Sun, diamonds, and obsidian. Placed as the base under a standard Beacon powered by a Nether Star, it changes the beam to a bright gold color and grants a passive "Fire Immunity" effect to players within its area.

​5. Enhanced Sun Armor

An endgame armor upgrade. Regular armor can be combined with a "Diamond Fusion Core" (made from diamond blocks and netherite) at a smithing table to create Sun Armor. Wearing the full set grants a permanent glow effect in total darkness and complete protection from magma and fire hazards.
