New LAN changes suck

26.2-rc-2 LAN changes are terrible. On a world i frequently switch gamemodes with the LAN feature, I can no longer do so because of this change making a multi year world unplayable

    I 100% Agree. But every embarressing change brings a new hero. Check out "Hardcore lan commands" a fabric mod, on both Curseforge and Modrinth. I pray you can safe your world from these... interesting desicion makers. 🙏🙏

    Sadly it is only possible now with mods, it should be put back in vanilla. I make a backup of the survival world i play to build in creative to test out styles/redstone that i dont want to grind for in survival in mega bases etc,
