Imagine walking through a dappled forest, completely alone. A tiny rustle breaks the silence. Who’s there? Of course — it’s a squirrel. And… oh! It just dropped onto your head. So cute.
But today you’re even luckier: you found the rare red variant, not the usual gray, white, brown or black ones. What is it doing now? Eating an acorn, obviously. Adorable. And where is it going? Back to its home — a carved fallen log where it sleeps and stores food.
Squirrels naturally search for seeds and berries around the forest, then hide them inside their log. But they’re shy: if they spot a mob nearby, they rush back home to protect their supplies.
You might wonder: why would I tame a squirrel? Isn’t cuteness enough Well… okay, okay, it also has some utility.
A tamed squirrel follows you, climbs onto your head, and — if you’re hungry — it might drop small foods into your inventory from time to time (berries, acorns…).
And sometimes, when it feels especially safe, it performs a tiny “foraging dance”: it circles you quickly and reveals a nearby hidden item by pointing its tail toward it — a seed, a berry bush, or even a small treasure it accidentally buried earlier.
