What I want to add:
Add a crafting recipe for Calcite in the 2×2 crafting grid of player inventory or crafting table.
We need 2 Pointed Dripstone and 2 Bone Meal in total. The materials must be placed diagonally: two identical items occupy a pair of diagonal slots respectively.
Two valid layouts are supported:
ABBA layout:[Pointed Dripstone, Bone Meal, Bone Meal, Pointed Dripstone] or [Bone Meal, Pointed Dripstone, Pointed Dripstone, Bone Meal]
Either diagonal arrangement works, and consuming 2 Pointed Dripstone + 2 Bone Meal will produce 2 Calcite at once.
Why this feature matters for Minecraft:
1. Calcite is a non-renewable block in vanilla Minecraft, which can only be obtained from geode structures. Players need to travel long distances to hunt geodes repeatedly and spend massive time on mining, greatly limiting large-scale construction with this beautiful light-colored building material.
2. The recipe has strict real-world chemical rationality: both Calcite and Pointed Dripstone are mainly composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) in reality; Bone Meal is made of animal bones which are also rich in calcium substances, perfectly matching the material composition logic.
3. The two raw materials are fully renewable in survival mode:
Players can build Dripstone farms for infinite production; Bone Meal can be mass-produced long-term via mob farms, composters and moss block farms, so players can set up a full renewable production chain for Calcite instead of relying on rare natural geodes.
