In the Gran Chaco, a large Argentinian plain containing savannas, wetlands, and forests, as well as housing giant armadillos and wolves, there's a tree called Bulnesia sarmientoi, or 'verawood', that when exposed to daylight and oxygen, the heartwood turns green, then dark olive.
This would be a dream come true if it were added to the game. I've always thought a dash of muted green would be perfect in the wooden toolkit of fences, signs, and shelves, and the precedent for vibrant wood items has been set by cherry and mangrove.
It could also break up the monotony of savanna flora, and it could complement the colours of acacia quite nicely.
Last but not least, the oxidation process already exists in-game! It would simply be an expansion of that system.
Thanks for consideration!
