Drumpods & Drumheart (Golden) Wood

Drumpods are a scaly indigo block that spawns in the end. When it’s bonemealed, it grows vines all over and becomes a growing drumpod, which can grow regular drumpods to its sides. This would be perfect for easy wood farms since they could use a melon/pumpkin farm set-up.

Drumpods can also be given to a sniffer to find a drumheart sprout/sapling, which would grow to be grander than regular trees, looking like a huge wisteria with dangling light cyan petaled vines and a golden trunk.

To make sure players know that the sniffer can find the drumheart sprout, there could be a sherd indicator of the sniffer in the end next to a podscale sherd, or some other creative method of telling.

Building

On its own, the drumpod block can be crafted into various indigo blocks under the name “podscale” that appear similar to purpur.

When stripped or used in a woodcarver (a functional block many have suggested) it becomes a golden-colored wood called drumheart wood which can make a full plank set that looks whimsical and ancient.

Material Use

Drumpods can also be used to make an indigo armor trim and make a new potion called the “potion of repealing.” The potion of repealing would cause hostile mobs (but not bosses) to be afraid of the player temporarily and run instead of attacking. This doesn’t work on mobs spawned from trial vaults or raids.
