Buttons, carpets and other stuff should have separate textures.

Instead of pulling the texture straight from the blocks like wood or stone or wool, stuff like buttons, carpets, levers, stairs etc. should have their own separate textures. Overall just every block should have a unique texture file, even if they are the same. Same goes for leaves or wool, which have different color variations.

It would be super helpful for people who make texture packs, because it would allow them to create unique textures instead of being limited by some textures being used in many blocks without a way to change them.
