April Fools: Minecraft how the devs want it

In a few "recent" posts some devs mentioned that things like creeper and beds exploding in Nether and End would not be added or would even be removed from the game if not for tradition / nostalgia / player backlash. I think it would be cool to see a version of Minecraft that is free from these constrainsts in which the devs could put / remove whatever they want since it wont impact the larger playerbase that simply doesnt want to play on this singular April fools patch.
