There are several features in the Android version that could be improved or are truly necessary.
1) Add support for changing the resolution within Minecraft itself, not just when using the vibrant visuals (Urgent):
Mobile devices and UI layers vary widely. Currently, most devices have 1080p, 1220p, or 1440p screens, and Minecraft mostly renders the image at the screen resolution.
As we all know, Minecraft is a block-and-pixel game, and since mobile screens are small, you have to be very close to the device to appreciate the details at high resolutions, so users don’t really benefit. The problem is magnified when only a few devices actually have the option to reduce their screen resolution (often due to UI-specific features). However, on phones like the POCO F6, to name one, it’s limited to 1220p regardless of the settings (and even gaming modes in the UI, like GameTurbo, don’t change the game’s resolution). Nor
would this help to:
* give the user more control.
* Better temperature control, especially in hot environments
* Better battery life
Currently, the only way to change the resolution for any device is to force a lower resolution using Shizaku (ADB privileges) and apps like Pixel Resolution+, DPI Cuanger, or Puur
2) Add a “back” button on menu screens (not as important).
The button in the top corner is hidden on mobile devices or gets confused with the system’s touch gestures.
3) Add support for Vulkan on Android (very important).
