Update Idea: "Awakened Ender Eyes"
The Problem: The current system to open the End portal is too linear and ignores 90% of the game's content, reducing the final journey to a simple grind.
The Solution: The portal would now require "Awakened Ender Eyes". The classic Blaze Powder and Ender Pearl recipe would only craft an "Inactive Eye". To awaken it, you must fuse it at a special crafting table with the essence of different adventures.
Freedom & Exploration (Sandbox Essence): Imagine there are 15 different types of Awakened Eyes (tied to biomes, structures, or mini-bosses). Since the portal still needs 12 different eyes, it encourages world exploration, but you choose your own path. If you hate the Ocean Monument, you can just ignore it and search for the Swamp eye instead.

Replayability & Dynamic Combat: To add even more depth, the specific 12 eyes you insert would directly alter the final battle against the Ender Dragon. For example, if you placed the Eye of the Storm, the dragon might summon dangerous wind charges during the fight. This adds massive replay value and gives veteran players a reason to seek out the hardest eye combinations for a greater challenge and better rewards.
