Blue ice freezes any adjacent water sources into ice blocks

Blue ice freezes any adjacent water sources into ice blocks. also blue ice can keep agents ice from melting back into water enabling more building with ice when it won't melt. it might look like frost walker or water in cold biomes freezing into ice but it's more like a basalt generator or cobble stone generator. making ice a renewable resource even in hot biomes just needs water.

    Alternatively, you could just make it so ice formed from frost walker boots is harvestable, like the snow from Snow Golems

    Snow Golems could be made to have the frost walker effect, turning water into ice. Though I would actually like it if their snow wasn't permanent, like frosted ice. They would leave a trail, but after a few seconds the snow trail would disappear.

    it could simply be made a game rule if Frost Walker Ice and Snow golem snow layers can be obtained.
    like mob griefing but more like conditional title drops

    wouldn't it be really cool if Frost Walker ice was made of ice layers just like snow golem snow layers except upside-down and waterlogged, so it melts and breaks faster when it's only a thin ice layer but if the frost walker moves around it gets thicker until it's a solid ice block, and then the ice could be mined with slick touch to be obtained and farmed but it's more time consuming to move around a little first to let it freeze a full ice block.
