Volcanic Plaines

Imagine, your playing with your friends, and as you top a hill you see a blacked, charred, and hostile environment in front of you. In the far distance rises a massive mountain that is spilling lava everywhere. Introducing the Volcanic Plaines! With these biomes comes a few new blocks and entities. of the blocks, there is different ashy blocks for you to use. Soft ash, which you will sink into and get blindness and slowly suffocate, a new type of stone called lava-rock, which is a dark red color, and strangely porous. There are also Schorchions, strange beast that are looking sickly outside of their natural enviroment, the Nether. They come at you, skittering on six legs with two claws and a red hot stinger. No please! These creepy crawlies inflict a variety of different effects, depending on how much health they have. Around you gurgle a multitude of lava pits, and every step may be you last. Pits in the ground occasionally spew flames into the air, compliment of pits of lava on top of potent sulfur. But, various ores glitter around you, exposed for you taking. You start mining some shiny gold ore, but what looks like a small cluster of crystals with legs pops out and attacks you, knocking you into a lava pit. But, you know where to get this loot and can come back better prepared.
