Minecraft Dungeons 2 Cape for for Java & Bedrock

It would be cool if the twisted cape and the soul cape would´t only be for Minecraft Dungeons 2, instead for the main game too.

    Would be fire, and drive FAR more presales of minecraft dungeons 2. As they cooked with those capes.

    If they port the MCD2 Capes, it only makes sense to port the ones from MCD1 too. :)

    It's a really bad idea. I hope they ignore this. They can add nice capes, but locking them behind the Minecraft Dungeons game and forcing players who aren't interested in the game to buy it just to get a cape for Java or Bedrock makes no sense. If they have any respect for their players and don't see them as a milking cows for cash, they should ignore this. If you want to add a cape, just create a task, event or activity (even watching stream of minecraft dunegons as promotion so potential buyers can see game and buy it if interest them) don't force players to buy a game they're not going to play.

    I disagree with the comment above me, because it doesn't take into account that... playing minecraft dungeons is an event and activity. Not everyone wants to fly out to a con, not everyone wants to play on a Mojang event for a cape, example mcci15 or Mojang office. Yet you still have to pay money to go to Twitch con and the minecons of long ago. So like... no, It's not a dumb idea, It's a good way to introduce new players who may not have thought they would like the game, to find out that they do enjoy it, and others get the capes as they wanted, plus Mojang makes more money and more people are happy. It's kind of giga brain to branch capes out to different parts of the franchise.

    This is a really good idea because the soul and twisted capes look incredible and I'm sure they'll release even more cool dungeons II cape designs and I want atleast one of them to make it into the main game. Some people object to this because they don't want to pay money for dungeons II but this can be solved by making it a free cape but obtained from a dungeons II themed bedrock live event server. This is the best possible way to implement the cape because it will be a win win for everyone. Mojang promotes their new cape on the bedrock server and gets more sales and the community gets a really fun server to play on and a cool cape

    I would really love it if this time the covers were for Java. It would give an opportunity for those who like the Minecraft game franchise to be recognized, and who can't go to the events.

    These capes are peak, port them into java and bedrock will raise purchases of dungeons 2 and will be very good gift for all Minecraft players

    I think this is the perfect opportunity to release a special cape that people can collect. If there are capes limited to events that some people can't afford to go to, then buying a game can make up for it. To put it harshly, I think it is a no-brainer.

    I disagree. Capes should be obtainable for everyone at some point, not cosmetic items that can only be acquired by paying or attending events in person, as this prevents many players from obtaining them.

    i bought dungeons 2 because i thought we get the capes i feel scammed they didnt mention exclusive to dungeons 2 and thats a scummy thing to do

    hopefully they will, the twisted cape is definitely the best cape design they have made in a while and it sucks it will be locked to a game that will probably stop getting updates after a while like dungeons 1

    Please make this happen because the official minecraft spanish X account said that the dungeons II capes will be for java and bedrock. They later deleted this post because either this isn't happening or because they didn't want to leak this information early. I really hope it's the second option and if it's the first option then please consider actually implementing at least one of the dungeons II capes into vanilla because so many people actually pre ordered the game because of that post including myself and it would be such a shame that a spin off game gets better looking capes than some vanilla minecraft capes. At least make the capes obtainable through a bedrock live event like mcc and since we already know that mojang is working on a dungeons II themed live event because of the panorama leak at least make one of the dungeons II capes obtainable through that live event. This might even be a better way to obtain the cape than just pre ordering because even people who can't afford the game can still get the capes while still promoting the game as someone else mentioned in the comments. I also wouldn't mind if the capes were redeemable via codes to be honest I don't care how it's implemented as long as it gets implemented in some way also implementing it through a bedrock live event is the best way to obtain this since no one complained about mcc event so similar event to mcc would do just as well
