Minecraft currently lacks dedicated sloped building blocks for creating traditional-style roofs.
I suggest adding a 45-degree sloped half-block. Unlike a perfectly smooth slope, its surface could be formed by many small stair-like steps, giving it a roof-tile appearance while also allowing players to walk on it comfortably.
The block itself would function as a general building block rather than a specific roof material. Different block types could have their own sloped variants, allowing builders to create a wide variety of roof styles and architectural designs.
This would greatly improve building possibilities for villages, castles, temples, and traditional architecture.
Benefits
These additions would:
- Expand building creativity
-
Provide builders with more content without changing Minecraft's core identity
