First, I don't play Minecraft because I don't currently have the money to buy it, but from my experience and what I've seen, attribute swapping is an important part of PvP. It is used in axe PvP, spear combat, mace combat, crystal PvP, and other strategies.
However, there is an issue. For example, if you have a diamond pickaxe with Efficiency and an iron pickaxe, the game may use the diamond pickaxe's enchantments and durability while mining, even though you're using the iron pickaxe. This can also affect other mechanics and may break gameplay.
I don't think attribute swapping should be removed completely because it is important for some PvP styles. Instead, the unintended effects, such as enchantment and durability transfer, should be fixed while keeping the useful PvP aspects.
Thanks.
