Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sneezeshrooms

Sneezeshrooms would spawn in the dappled forest, look like autumn sneezeweed, and have multiple uses such as:

  • Creating quickly-fading puffs of spores and a redstone signal when hit or stepped on, hiding mobs within them
  • Making potions without nether wart that mimics the spore’s effect at a bigger scale (like smokebombs)
  • Spreading explosions from tnt (not creepers) to where its spore particles are
  • Expanding the range of splash & lingering potions
  • Being used in mushroom soup to cause temporary nausea and blindness but also restore health quickly
  • Repelling creepers (Creepers are afraid that if they breathe in sneezeshrooms, they’ll explode from sneezing)

For building, players can prevent sneezeshrooms from making spores by placing water under the block they’re attached to.

    That’s cool. Maybe instead of the sneeze shroom making already existing potions, there could be a new set of potions with that effect, so people would have to collect sneeze shrooms akin to nether wart for different kinds of potions. Great job though
