Use for surplus eggs

Please can there be a way to use up surplus eggs? I thought if a villager could trade for eggs to buy them from you. Maybe the villager with the smoker block as he already buys meats etc from you, surely eggs would be included in that bracket also? I hate to destroy eggs but as someone with a hopper collection for eggs, it really bugs out my world when the eggs backlog. I have to bin them into lava atm and I'd love for them to be useful in another way.

    You should be able to make a incubator that when given eggs, via a player using it or hopper system, would hatch every single egg. It would need a fuel source though.

    Adding more uses for eggs could also give way to desperately needed food update, with knew items like pans, which you would put on a campfire and put raw food items in to cook them. Like, eggs would make fried eggs and you could also put things like honey, and then pork to make Honey Ham, because why not.
