I ran out of space, but I wanted to say that while the Bitter berries are mealy and disgusting for players, a new mob added to the biome such as Turkeys could love them. Turkeys would be a perfect addition to the new Dappled Forest by fitting the autumn theme and colors. They’d be lead, tamed, and bred with any kind of berries, giving berry farming a use. Though the drawback is they’d eat ripe berries off bushes requiring players to protect them like carrots from rabbits. The addition of Turkeys would mean a new food source in the game, my recommendation is for them to drop 1-3 Turkey Drumsticks, which can provide slightly less than chicken meat. You’d have to use the drumsticks inside of a stew or something like with rabbit to get more hunger haunches. The real benefit of turkeys though is that they will protect your chickens from predators, either their loud gobbling scares predators like hawks, owls, or foxes away or they physically attack the predator if it gets too close. I just think turkeys would fit into the ecosystem and biome diversity well, while also being kinda fun and funny for players to interact with or as I suggest even be useful for defending chickens or rabbits from predators.

I love the turkey ideas and another 2 block tall flower in the form of goldenrod and a purple dye giving aster would be so lovely! I'm all for new flowers :)

For the maple wood, we already have a pinkish/purplish wood in the form of crimson wood, and we already have reddish orange in acacia. Imo we need a true red to match blocks like red wool, red concrete, red mushroom blocks, as those are hard to build with right now due to no true match.

I also think bamboo does okay for yellow wood for right now. Wayyy in the future I wouldn't be opposed to another yellow, but right now I do think grey was missing, and I'm excited to see what builders make with it. I'd like to see black, purple and a true green wood added first too.
