Removing attribute swapping is genuinely gonna ruin modern PvP, especially when dealing with good shield players. Experienced players already know how to time their blocks—they’ll keep their shield down when they see you holding an axe, then immediately pull it up the second you try to trade sword hits. Without attribute swapping, you literally can't switch to an axe mid-combo to break their guard without getting stuck in a clunky cooldown delay, which gives defensive shield spammers an unfair advantage.
Plus, removing it completely kills weapons and enchants with long cooldowns—stuff like Mace Breach, Spear Lunges, and heavy utility gear will just feel useless in fast-paced fights. Mojang has kept emergent bugs and turned them into features before when they actually made the game better, like Redstone quasi-connectivity or TNT duping. Stripping away a mechanic that high-level PvP is built around is just going to split the community all over again like 1.8 and 1.9 did. Even though they reverted the removal for now, Mojang shouldn't go through with removing it in future updates at all—keeping attribute swapping is basically essential if we want combat to stay fast, fluid, and fun.
