Minecraft: “Veteran” Edition
I’m not good at explaining and writing things, so I’m trying my best.
Minecraft: Veteran Edition is an alternate sandbox game, with more retro (or nostalgia feel) with 2d blood sprites, more fantasy violence genre and aggressive themes (14+) as things we thought would look after Notch’s retirement (maybe)
This is for player who prefer more aggressive version, focused on retro heavy RPG elements, (less overhaul) with early beta contrast textures, more steps and expensive craft recipes which keeps “playthrough” longer. This includes hardcore bosses and unique entities, such as the legendary Herobrine, Crying Angels, and monsters inspired from Terraria. There were no Ender Dragon (End Portal) yet, almost as if this was a prequel before the overhaul sanitized version (Java/Bedrock Edition). Like everyday sandbox minecraft, it’s cozy but extra aggressive and steps. And no creative mode

As the start, I think reusing the Legacy Console version (4J Studio) since it runs C++ would be a good idea Completely playable on Windows, Mac OS, Linux and console. Or have another dev to help make a new one
Concept Art

Graphics & Features
Retro feel! That features early Beta era hybrid with modern overhaul (Alpha 1.2.6/Release 1.13), bringing alpha/beta biomes, old contrast blocks textures and items (beta & programmer art) rather than Jappa art which is purposely design for sensitive eyes. This also includes classic baby mobs, and other classic graphics like atmospheric fog
