lease leave attribute swapping alone. Keep it in the game permanently and embrace it as a core, legitimate mechanic of modern Java PvP instead of trying to patch it out in future 26.3 snapshots.
Pre-release 2 honestly felt awful for the competitive community. Taking away attribute swapping completely kills the flow and the high skill ceiling that players have spent years mastering. Modern PvP isn't like 1.8 where anyone can just turn on a macro and win with pure CPS. It's actually tactical—it’s all about split-second timing, spacing, and muscle memory. Mace combos, crystal PvP, and spear swaps take massive practice. They aren't "exploits," they are the high-skill meta that keeps the competitive scene alive. Adding a clunky delay to hotbar switches makes combat feel laggy and unresponsive. If this gets removed in 26.3, it’s just going to split the community again because competitive servers will simply refuse to update.
