Possible alternative to adding a gigantic end update?

It’s no secret that the end is in dire need of an update. However since mojang is quite set on the new game drop system, I have a solution. In a game drop, mojang have added new biomes and structures (pale forest, abandoned camp, etc…) so they are not opposed to it clearly. So in a future game drop, instead of creating a new overworld biome, why don’t you add a new end biome? and a few game drops that add new end biomes and structures will give the community a end update like they have been asking for, and it still falls into the game drops system. The end update doesn’t have to be like the nether update where it was a massive update then we didn’t see any changes or updates to the game for a long time due to the nether update being so large (and covid). All the community wants is a improvement to the end like a new biome/mob/structure like what has been added to previous game drops. (personally i would really like to see some sort of new forest biome in the end with purple wood 👀)
