In survival mode, it is impossible to enjoy almost all biomes at night without encountering a zombie hoard, a pack of spiders, or sneaking creepers ready to destroy your builds. In Minecraft Live 2025 when the Spring to Life drop was revealed, the players went through a swamp at night and saw a pig temple lit by fireflies. Builds like this add a lot of character to worlds, but they are difficult to make and witness in the dark without being attacked by all sorts of enemies. The dappled forest looks like it would make a great place for night builds too, but NOT with fifty enemies tracking you down and destroying your hard work. There should be a block that can be made inconspicuous and can keep all nighttime monsters(including phantoms) away from a large area, say a 50 by 50. It could be renewable and be called a sunstone. It would use the sun's power to simulate daytime and keep monsters out, even at night. It could also be crafted similarly to a lodestone, with chiseled stone bricks and possibly some new item found in the dappled forest.
