The premise of the Dappled Forest update, but also adding other items. It would be called the Flammable update due to it adding fire-colored leaves, and multiple flammable items (new wood variant, wool stairs/slabs, hay beds, etc.) and also some of my ideas, listed here.
-Update the blaze, which really hasn't changed since being added.
-Instead of the blaze shooting fireballs like ghasts, it shoots out little baby blazes or "Sparks" that, when hitting the player, do damage. The damage done will stack depending on how many sparks have hit you, until you ignite, being lit on fire.
-Add dynamic lighting.
-Add smoke for regular fires, not just campfires, but make it so that with regular ones, it is scaled by the size of the fire.
-Add ashy/burnt wood variant, but make it so that nether wood doesn't burn.
-Make smoke suffocate the player, except for campfire smoke. Make a "Partial Blindness" effect, that happens when a player is suffocating, or when they are surrounded by smoke. It worsens the more you suffocate/are in smoke.
-Add a helmet/wearable head item that, similarly to the turtle shell helmet, lessens the effect of smoke. Maybe also change Aqua Affinity to work with smoke as well, changing the name to something like "Air Affinity."
-Maybe add wildfires have a slim chance of happening in non-cold forests.
Any names can be changed or altered to sound better.
