First I love the idea of sulfur caves and what they offer to minecraft. HOWEVER, I think that they could go much much further then anyone realizes. First the fire aspect. Sulfur is hoghly combustable and should be treated as such heres why. Often TNT is the one actual thing that hasd been used for major clear of all kinds of obstacles, traps, and even nether clearing. But what if you could use sulfur to make the TNT have a bigger punch. When you use normal TNT it only clears a tiny patch at best depending on material. and the only way to make an area go away faster is through more TNT piled up and made wider to take out bigger desired areas. If you added sulfur to the mix it could greatly increase the TNT fire power and save a player so much time gather ALL TNT materials to make more in general where as you collect less and just use some sulfur when initially crafting and eleminating the need to get tons of TNT made.
Next I wish they would get rid of lava and put lakes, because again sulfur is highly flammable and it would really cool to just set those caves ablaze and watch them burn all over and make material and ore searching a little quicker when you needs things fast also the chaos involved is super cool. Next if you wanted lava and ditch the whole cave burning idea then make the lava blue and the lakes purple. It would really add to the color scheme and bring something fresh to one of the games oldest natural items. (lava)
