Shelf Mushroom Improvements (Placement, Stacks, and Cooking)

As awesome as the new shelf mushrooms announced for the Third 2026 Drop look and sound, I have a few tweaks that I'd like to pitch to make them even better.

1. Let shelf mushrooms be placed on any block like the cactus flower. The shape is too interesting and loaded with building potential to not be placed on any block.

2. Let up to 4 shelf mushrooms be placed on a single block. Shelf mushrooms often come in stacks in the wild, so adding that function would provide more realism and better building opportunities. Plus, while candles, certain flowers, and leaf litter can have up to four placed on top of the same block, this could be the first thing that can have up to four placed on the side of a block.

3. Let them be crafted into edible chunks. In real life, shelf mushrooms are among the most widely eaten, so using them in a crafting table to make mushroom chunks would create a new food source without getting rid of the block as is. Eating it raw causes nausea, but cooking it allows people to use it as a meat substitute for vegetarians and vegans.
