Maybe they naturally hunt down all fishes (including pufferfish) and parrots. If you hold a Fish Bucket (any type) in your hand (any hand), then an owl within 16 blocks will swoop down to eat it. Doing so has a chance to tame it, making it follow you and attacking anything you attack, similar to a tamed wolf.

This idea fits the dappled forest vibes very well, imo the dappled forest is really bland by itself due to being just an oak forest textured differently

Seriously wish we had owls, and just more ambience in this game in general.

It would make traveling seem a bit more fun and interesting. Owls, cricket sounds, and more would be lovely <3

In general, owls should inhabit dense forest biomes (normal forest, dappled forest, dark forest, taiga, and, without a doubt, pale garden), with variations only in their models—much like cows and chickens, which have variants for temperate, cold, and hot climate biomes. Currently, there is no real atmosphere in these biomes at night; it is just a constant stream of monsters.

OMG YES!! Racoons or squirrels would also be a good fit.

Se necesitan más depredadores como leones cocodrilos tiburones halcones y etc un poco más animales y animales zombies se puedan curar si tocase en un bioma agresivo y no hubiesen animales normales

Owls would be even better if they would spawn in all biomes. Maybe even different versions too 👀

Add a tameable owl mob that spawns naturally in the Dappled Forest.
    - Tame it with raw rabbit.
    - After tamed, the owl can perch on the player’s shoulder just like parrots.
    - It flies and follows you. You can tell it to sit down.
    - At night, it hoots to warn you when hostile mobs are nearby.
The owl fits the autumn woods atmosphere perfectly.
