With the introduction of the dappled forest this fall is bound to look extra festive for Minecraft but with not all the features added there is room for community feedback to shape this update even more! This Post stands as my predictions and what I hope to see.
Mushrooms Expansion: Adding new mushrooms for the dappled forest and other biomes such as the birch forest and taiga will be included. Mushrooms I hope to see include Death caps, Glow-Shrooms, and toad stools. (Information half true as new mushrooms are already provided by mojang but not to the extent mentioned)
Suspicious Stew Texture updates: Given the vibes of the update and recent updates coming with new texture and model updates I believe we will get updated textures to better identify the Suspicious Stew in game. (They could do this by adding a flower to the item sprite)
New Stairs + Slabs Variants: Wool is shown to be coming in new Stairs + Slabs but to further the theme mojang can add variants for the terracotta and concrete blocks.
Carved Wood: Like the shelf block that comes in all wood variants this update could bring a new carved wood block that wool act as trims or boarder that comes in all the wood variants including the dappled.
Stone Pillars: On theme with things the community has wanted for a while and the cottage core vibes this drop should and hopefully will include new pillars in all of the stone variants.
