I think for world-building reasons certain cave biomes should be locked to surface biome archetypes for example i think regular caves , dripstone caves and the deep dark should be available for all biome archetypes but the lush cave should only be found in the temperate biomes ( the archetypes could be the same as those the farm animal mob variants use ) and the sulfur cave only in warmer biomes this also allows for future expansions on the cave system and improves immersion.
