Special Poplar Tree properties

Rainbow Poplar Trees!

Occasionally, Poplar Trees could generate with a rare rainbow wood variant. The logs would look normal from the outside, but the inside texture would contain colourful streaks of pink, blue, green, and purple, with several possible patterns.

To reflect real Rainbow Poplar wood, the colours could slowly fade over time after the log is harvested and placed. After 1 day the colours would be vibrant, after 2 days slightly faded, after 3 days mostly faded, and after 4 days the log would become a normal Poplar Log. Stripping the log with an axe could reveal rainbow streaks around the entire block.

A new item, Wood Sealant, could preserve the rainbow effect permanently, similar to how honeycomb can wax copper blocks.

I think this would make exploring the new Poplar forests much more exciting while adding a unique decorative block for builders to collect and use in so many ways.

Poplar Bark & Medicine!

Poplar Trees could occasionally drop Poplar Bark when stripped with an axe. This bark could be crafted into a Poplar Salve, inspired by the real-world use of poplar bark in traditional medicine.

Applying a Poplar Salve could grant brief Regeneration or reduce the duration of negative effects like Poison or Wither. It would be weaker than a Potion of Healing, but easier to obtain, giving early-game players a simple way to recover health before brewing potions.

This would give Poplar Trees a unique gameplay purpose and encourage players to explore Poplar forests.
