Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Salt Blocks

Salt Blocks could be used for a variety of things. There could be different types such as pink mountain salt or white sea salt. It could be broken down and used in food recipes or potions. Players could also "salt the ground" and make it unfarmable, turning dirt and farming blocks into a new barren block. Animals such as cows and goats could lick the salt blocks. Salt!
