This new system will be potentially added on that update, which scales how much damage armor negates (from 0.8% to 4% protection per armor point instead of always 4%), but it depends on how much damage you deal to make it work, capping at below 20% remaining armor points left. This pretty much removes an armor point every 2 damage per hit (not literally... just ignores parts of the amor), which is a bit overpowered when combining with everything I've just said, and potentially making Netherite Armor as bad as Chain. Here's what I think:
- Nerfing the protective value from 0.8% - 4% to 2% - 4% per armor point.
- A new system can be added along with this (you can come up with a name for this, and it would be listed under the weapon). This could depend on what weapon the target it using, such as Arrows capping at 2%, while Stone Swords capping at 3.5% (examples).
- The way it scales from 2% - 4% should NOT be by chance.
