I am a dedicated Minecraft player using a tablet device. While I love the game, I am limited by my hardware’s RAM and processing power, which makes running the Java Edition with complex mods (like the "Create" mod) impossible.
I propose that Microsoft/Mojang introduces an official cloud-based gaming service specifically for the Java Edition. My idea is a "Pay-as-you-go" subscription or a time-based credit system (e.g., 20 hours of gameplay for a fixed price).
Why this would be beneficial:
Accessibility: It would allow millions of players on mobile devices, tablets, and low-end laptops to experience the full potential of Minecraft Java with modpacks, without needing expensive hardware.
Safety & Stability: By providing official servers, Mojang would offer a secure environment, preventing players from needing to use unofficial, insecure, or laggy "cloud PC" third-party apps.
Revenue: This creates a new, sustainable revenue stream (Game-as-a-Service model) that allows players to pay for the computing power they actually use, rather than forcing them to buy a $1,000 PC.
Modding Support: If Mojang offered officially supported Java environments with built-in mod support (like Fabric), it would bring the Java experience to a much wider audience while maintaining high performance.
This service would bridge the gap between Bedrock’s portability and Java’s modding capabilities. I believe this is the future of gaming for players like me who want to build complex automated machines
