Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Allow banner patterns to be placed on Elytra

Similar to shields, banner patterns on elytra would be a scaled-down version of the pattern. The pattern would be overlayed over the entire elytra, split down the middle so each wing has half of the pattern. This would bring a large amount of customization similar to shields and armor trims, allowing every equippable gear to be customized in some way. 

Capes may be slightly less special, but capes are still an exclusive item that would display if on regardless of elytra banner pattern, maintaining what makes them special.

    This is such a good idea, we also need the shield thing in bedrock too. It's such a little detail to the game, but it's so fun to just make something your own!
