Unintentional slippage when stopped moving in Creative mode

Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 version.

In Creative mode, the player character slides slightly after releasing the movement keys and then stops. This creates an unwanted sense of inertia, reducing movement accuracy, which is crucial for detailed building or positioning in confined areas.
