CHAINMAIL REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM

1.Chainmail becomes an armor reinforcement material. It is used in the Smithing Table to upgrade existing armor. It does not replace armor — it strengthens it. 2. CRAFTING chainmail is craftable using iron nuggets 3. ALLOWED COMBINATIONS copper + chainmail iron + chainmail diamond + chainmail netherite + chainmail 4. HOW IT IS USED take an armor piece place it in the Smithing Table add chainmail as the reinforcement material you get a reinforced armor piece 5. MAIN EFFECT Reinforced armor: protects against arrows protects against crossbows protects against ranged attacks BUT: it does NOT make the player invincible damage is still taken it only reduces part of the damage 6. IMPORTANT CASE: POWER IV AND V BOWS SPECIAL CASE if a bow has Power IV or V then: the damage is very high chainmail reinforcement does NOT fully block the damage the player still takes significant damage meaning: even with reinforced armor, Power IV/V bows remain dangerous ❌ 7. RESTRICTIONS ❌ leather + chainmail (removed) ❌ gold + chainmail (removed) ❌ chainmail + chainmail (forbidden) 8. SIMPLE BALANCE RULES not a magical armor system not an enchantment replacement not invincibility a simple armor upgrade system mainly improves defense against ranged attacks 9. PURPOSE give chainmail a real use improve existing armor sets add protection against ranged combat keep Minecraft simple and balanced
