Purple or Black Wood

I feel as though there should be some kind of black wood, and a purple kind too. When I build I often want to use black and purple (because they're 2 of my favorite colors) but there is no purple or black wood in the game.
Some ideas for a purple wood could be:
Purple Heart Trees (also known as Nazareno trees) are a tropical canopy tree native to south and central America. Their scientific name (peltogyne purpurea) includes "purpur" so I feel like they could be trees in a new End biome. The chorus tree leaves would drop popped chorus fruit (hence the mention of purpur), sticks, and saplings. The outer bark would be a pinkish-grey, and the wood itself would be closer to the color of the chorus plant or like purple concrete.
For black wood, I would suggest the African Black Wood tree! It's got a light brown bark, and a black interior wood. These are a near-endangered species and very rare but native to parts of South Africa, Senegal, Eritrea, etc. so maybe make it a rare biome (kind of like mushroom islands!)
