As they currently are, amethyst geodes are pretty lackluster in features. The spyglass is often skipped on, building is dedicated to a limited part of the community only, and the only feature that I think amethysts could be more focused on is redstone. As we already have calibrated sculk sensors, I think it's only fair we have more redstone powered by amethysts. As an example, I propose an amethyst repeater. In the redstone community instant transmission is often very space consuming and inaccessible for casual redstoners, so an amethyst repeater could easily solve that problem: working as a 'link' allowing you to transfer redstone power from point A to point B with the radius of 15 blocks. To link an amethyst repeater to another, you would need to use an amethyst shard on the input and then on the output.
