Minecraft Combat Update Part 2 Suggestion

Version suggestion: 1.26.3 / 1.27.1

It has been ten years since the last official big combat update. I hope we can launch Combat Update Part 2.
  1. Allow players to wear chestplates and elytra at the same time. Keep all defense effects of chestplates and normal gliding functions of elytra, no need to take off armor to fly.
  2. Add adjustable settings in game options. Players can change the sweep attack range freely.
  3. Let players adjust the attack cooldown time through in-game settings or game commands. It can satisfy old school players and modern balanced gameplay players at the same time.
Perfect for official vanilla survival combat experience improvement!
