Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Book covers!!

Yo Mojang hear me out, *Suggestion:* Let players combine a written book and a banner in a crafting table or grindstone to apply a custom cover. The book keeps its text and stays a normal “written book,” but visually displays the banner pattern as its cover. *Why it helps:* 1. *Organization*: Right now every written book looks the same, which makes libraries and storage a mess. Custom covers would let players sort books at a glance. 2. *Collaboration & Roleplay*: Friends who write together in-game could use colors/patterns to mark authors, chapters, or topics. It makes collaborative projects way easier to manage. 3. *No balance impact*: The book isn’t enchanted or changed mechanically. The banner is consumed, and it’s purely cosmetic. *How it could work:* - Place 1 written book + 1 banner in the crafting grid, get a “Covered Book”. - Shift-click the book to read it normally. - Use a grindstone to remove the cover and reclaim the banner. This would be huge for players who use Minecraft for writing, storytelling, and server lore
