To everyone at Mojang Studios, Bedrock Edition needs to stop feeling like the limited version of Minecraft for technical players. Java players can build insanely advanced worlds with reliable automatic farms, chunk loaders, storage systems, flying machines, better PvP mechanics, full offhand usage, stronger mod support, shaders, and much more consistent redstone, while Bedrock players constantly have to work around restrictions, bugs, and mechanics that either behave differently or just do not work properly. Redstone inconsistency alone prevents Bedrock from reaching the same level of automation Java players have, and things like limited offhand functionality, unreliable chunk loading, simulation distance problems, and weaker modding support make massive long-term worlds far less rewarding to build. Bedrock has the potential to be the best version of Minecraft because of crossplay and accessibility, but right now it feels like technical players are being left behind compared to Java. Players do not want Bedrock to simply “run well”; they want the freedom to create the same insane, fully automated worlds that Java players have been making for years without constantly fighting the game’s limitations.
