NEW WOOD WOULD ROCK!!!

Dear mojang developers

Burnt oak would be a new type of wood and spawns in deserts or is made when a oak tree survives bring lit on fire or if someone puts the fire out. These trees would not drop saplings as they are just oak that was burnt/dehydrated. It would have a really dark almost black color to it so that you can now have a black wood variant.

I would much appreciate if you could add this into Minecraft

    That was exactly my point 

     

    If we have pale oak that is almost white so why not new oak that is almost black

    I agree!! I've been wanting a black wood for some time now and have seen suggestions like this saying African Ebony or Blackwood would be cool for a new biome, but I actually think your idea is better.

    I can imagine the surprise of finding a burnt tree randomly, it would make the experience more unique.

    Perhaps it could drop some Dead Bushes and Blocks of Charcoal.

    That is actually a good idea and should be considered if this gets added

    The tree not dropping saplings could be replaced by this
