5. The new features and fabrics: I understand that the game has a very strong "crafting" component, but it would be quite fun to immerse the game more in the world than in its purpose. The game's name is Minecraft (mining and crafting).
So having a slightly more dystopian mode would be quite captivating, where the crafting table wouldn't craft everything anymore. Now, in survival mode, there could be new workbenches for: Crafting weapons. resources (yarn, thread, spinning, and weaving), Books and studies. Specialized farm.
This could have a much broader purpose than just upgrading materials, since pickaxes (copper, stone, iron) are all pickaxes and it becomes very generic.
So with a new workbench, things would gain more variations such as:
- Gold sword: Becomes called Excalibur
- Copper sword (Machine or long dagger)
Some materials could be limited to free crafting, such as the stone pickaxe. I read a lot about lore and I know that you don't need any specialized workbench or support to make a stone tool, so it would be great if they could make crafting easier and allow many of the materials to be produced in that 2x2 crafting machine that the character can make themselves, greatly increasing the players' exploration limits on the map.
