In Minecraft Bedrock when creating a custom entity with "minecraft:mob_effect" entity component (that is used to apply effects to nearby entities), it's currently not possible to set an amplifier value, leading to all effects applying with an amplifier of 0 (1).
If it where possible to set an amplifier value via this component, it would also let entities to apply ambient (blue effect icon and transparent particles) amplified effects to other entities.
