I’ve been looking at the Minecraft Marketplace and noticed that most packs are priced between 400 and 900 Minecoins (around $10). As a 15-year-old, I’m telling you straight: this is a major problem for minors who don't have credit cards. There is no real "economy" if the people who actually play the game—mostly kids and teens on Bedrock—can’t afford to buy anything.
Here is my concept to fix it:
Add a toggle button that allows players to convert their Gamer Score into Minecoins.
Why it works: Most of my friends at school and people I talk to online don't even know what Gamer Score is. It’s a useless number for us. Turning it into Minecoins actually gives us a reason to earn achievements and play more.
Benefit to Creators: If players can "earn" currency through gameplay, the creators of Bedrock maps and mods will actually see more sales because the entire community—not just the "lucky" 1% with money—can finally afford their work.
Fairness: It closes the gap between PC (Java) players who get infinite free mods and console (Bedrock) players who are currently stuck behind a paywall.
We shouldn't have to beg for credit cards just to have fun in a game we already bought. Let us turn our effort into something that actually matters in the game.
Sincerely,
A Bedrock Player
