We haven't had a new food update in a while. I think the community would love new foods.
We haven't had a new food since the Caves and Cliffs update in version 1.17, introducing glow berries. Since 2021, it's been the same old foods. Here is a list of some possible foods I think the entire community would enjoy!
Sweet Berry Pie: Crafted like pumpkin pie, but with 3 sweet berries instead of a pumpkin.
Burger: Crafted with Bread on the top and bottom slot, with steak in the middle, this would offer high hunger and saturation
Corn: This crop may be found within the plains biome or traded by farmer villagers, this would act kind of like some other crops, but will restore more hunger. These act like sugarcane, in terms of they grow from a stalk after planting a corn kernel on a block directly adjacent to water. Put it in a furnace or over 1 corn over the campfire to get popcorn
Cheese: Cook a milk bucket to get a cheese wedge, this can be used on a burger to make a cheeseburger
Rice: This is a culturally rich staple crop in many regions
Sushi: Any fish, rice, dried kelp, delicious snack!
Vegetable Stew: A great food source using a carrot, potato, and a beetroot, finally putting those beetroots to use
Feel free to post any other food ideas you know of that I missed in the comments, and also criticize my food ideas as well, I think the whole Minecraft playerbase can benefit from such a massive food drop like this one, so I hope this leads to something incredible that everyone really enjoys!
