Minecraft potions are often overlooked nowadays, because they are a hassle to brew and to use without a big reward. Here are some ideas to improve Minecraft potions.
1: Players rarely consider to bring potions, because they clog up their inventory very easily. By increasing potion stacks to atleast 16 makes them way more viable.
2: We should also add new potions/effects that are brewed by items that don’t have a proper purpose right now in the game. For example: glowberries can be brewed into potions of glowing, Prismarine shards can be brewed into potions of haste and mining fatigue and honey combs can be brewed into potions that gives you immunity for negative effects for a period of time. Other examples of items with limited uses are: chorus fruit, echo shards and resin.
3: We can also give the cauldron an extra use for potions. Putting potion effects into a cauldron is a bedrock exclusive feature which should also be added to java as well. We can also expand on this feature by adding the ability to mix up to 3 different potion effects into a cauldron. This gives the player the ability to make custom potions that give multiple effects at once with the draw back of the custom potions being less powerful then before. The possibilities are endless.
