The Sulfur Cube has a handful of blocks that can be put in it, but only two that actually have an intricate function. This suggestion pushes forward some new block concepts with mechanics and even possible things that can be paired with them to add some flavour to some systems.
**Iron Block and Netherite Block**
These two blocks, both being very heavy, give the sulfur cube a new property, ‘Smashing’. Upon the sulfur cube hitting a certain velocity and hitting a surface, it gives out an AoE dealing damage base on speed. This does have a cap, unlike the mace and spear, although im not sure what the cap would be. Netherite blocks, while harder to move, would have a larger cap and would deal more damage proportionate to speed.
Fun Ways to use it:
No.1, Crusher
Use these brand new squishing machines to make an industrial crusher for mob spawners or even traps.
No.2, Combat
This one is somewhat of a long shot, but combining wind charges, this sulfur cube and fishing rods, you can essentially make a ball and chain, allowing you to fling the cube up and bring back down, delivering devastating blows to targets. Think of it has a more physics based mace with multiple hit potential.
**Cauldron Slimes**
If a cauldron is put in a sulfur cube, you can now fill it with potions, up to 5. Then, if the sulfur cube is flung at a surface or mob quick enough, the potions can spill in an explosion, this can be paired with a happy ghast or elytra + leash to bring chemical warfare to Minecraft.
